Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work with all Crestron processors?

Yes. The tool works with any SSH-accessible Crestron processor, including the CP3, CP3N, MC3, MC4-R, and AV3. Sub-devices such as DM switchers, TSW touch panels, amplifiers, and RF gateways are discovered and scanned automatically once connected to the main processor.

Does it need internet access to run?

No. All scanning is direct network communication between your computer and the Crestron devices on your LAN. No data is sent to any external server. The only internet access required is a one-time license activation on first launch — after that, the app works fully offline.

What happens after I purchase?

After purchase, you'll receive a license key by email. Download the EXE from the confirmation page, enter your license key on first launch, and you're ready to go. No installation required — just run the EXE directly.

Can I use it on multiple computers?

Each license is for a single machine. If you need to deploy across a team or multiple workstations, please contact us through the store — we offer site licensing for multi-seat deployments.
